Mission Statement & Services

Mission Statement

The mission of Restored Access is to assist individuals who are unable to afford effective healthcare to gain access to holistic services and wellness education. We believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to recover from our traumatic and toxic society and reclaim their power and wellness. We believe that our society can be improved by being made up of empowered and healthy citizens. We aim to support anyone who is willing to work toward recovery and wellness but has financial barriers to accessing services that are needed for their progress.

Current Services

  • Conducting community needs assessments to identify issues that need to be addressed and potential services and resources that would be required to address them to create a comprehensive Community Recovery Plan

  • Peer Recovery Support (SUD and mental health treatment resources and referral)

  • Providing holistic cultural wellness education based on Indigenous wisdom and science to individuals, communities, and organizations who cannot afford it (Walking In Balance)

    • Online video curriculum with participant workbook & daily wellness planner

    • Traditional craft training (20+ different crafts)

  • Facilitator training with facilitator guide and class worksheets

  • Providing education, resources, and support regarding neurodivergence, addiction, generational trauma, healthy parenting, emotional regulation, burnout, and recovering health and functioning to the public via online platforms and in-person services at schools, healthcare centers, and other community organizations.

  • Hosting community recovery support meetings, group therapy, and talking circles addressing various topics based on the needs of the population (remote and in person)

Planned Services

  • Recognize, Empathize, and Refer Community Wellness Program

  • Contracting with holistic and trauma informed healthcare providers (including, but not limited to mental healthcare providers, peer support services, medical providers, recovery services, etc.) to pay for services that individuals would not be able to access otherwise

  • Creating addiction and trauma recovery treatment centers with sober living houses (including cooking, language, yoga, and Indigenous medicine classes, etc.) based on the philosophy of Walking In Balance that will be accessible to all community members

  • Trains and certifies additional peer recovery specialists

  • Establishes safe and welcoming spaces for support groups and recovery activities

  • Offers virtual spaces for people in recovery living in remote areas to connect with resources and peers

  • Expands outreach efforts to underserved and rural areas
